So on the topic of my brother and wife going to Hawaii…
I decided go to Edmonds Center for the Arts to visit the Slack Key Festival.
There are so many beautiful things about Hawaii and one of them is their technique called Slack Key Guitar, a style of playing guitar. My last video, the only video posted, shares the sound of slack key.
At this festival were artists Kainani Kahaunaele, Jerry Santos, Sonny Lim, Jim “Kimo” West, Kamuela Kimokeo, and Ikaika Marzo
They performed wonderfully. Thank you Paul, my friend for accompanying me. Definitely need more of this love for all of us.
